Richard Kirk to speak at the EEF National Conference

Richard Kirk has been invited as a speaker to the EEF National Conference taking place on Thursday 26th February 2015.

The EEF National Manufacturing Conference 2015 will once again be staged at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London on 26 February 2015. In the very heart of Westminster, the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre is ideally located to take advantage of everything London has to offer.

Speakers include Leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband and Chief Economic Commentator at the Financial Times, Martin Wolf. Richard will be taking part in a panel debate “The Best of British Manufacturing” alongside Steph McGovern (Broadcaster), Tony Walker (Deputy Managing Director, Toyota UK), Nicola Salter (HR Director, Williams F1) and Richard Hill (Head of Automotive & Manufacturing, Natwest).

The prestigious conference will bring together the ‘who’s who’ of manufacturing. As part of its ‘Make it Britain’ campaign in the run up to the General Election, EEF will publish its full election manifesto, laying down a challenge to all three main parties to pursue policies that will promote jobs and growth. EEF Chief Executive, Terry Scuoler, said: “(The) conference will come at a critical time for business and all three main parties must have growth at the centre of their policies. Our event will give manufacturers the chance to talk to government and, opposition, about what the priorities should be to boost jobs and investment.”
