Improving visual acuity is our ultimate aim

In a world where diabetic retinopathy is generally considered the leading cause of blindness among the working-age population, we recognise that any improvement in visual acuity in those affected is priceless.

Having met Martin Scivier, another #dedoc° voice, whilst out a conference, we were keen for him to try Noctura 400. Luckily for him, he is by far not the worst case of diabetic retinopathy we have seen, but the mask has nevertheless benefitted him and we certainly value his feeback.

He’s kindly documented his experince of Noctura 400 in his blog, and reports small but noticable improvements after 6 months use of Noctura 400, with left eye visual acuity remaining stable at 20:20 vision, and right eye improving from 6/9.5 to 6/7.5. OCT scans also show a small improvement in both eyes with reductions in the key thickness and volume measures. The fact that all OCT thickness and volume numbers have gone down, is yet more supporting evidence for ther effectivity of the mask. Of course, we have many more patients who have seen the benefits of the mask.
